COURSE OVERVIEW
| Learn the six basic steps to trim a horse's feet correctly. Proper balance for the whole horse begins with his feet. Learn basic leg conformation and correct alignment to keep horses healthy. Learn about motion problems brought on by poor conformation or improper trimming that can be detrimental to horse and rider. Learn how to handle a horse safely. With this introductory course you win be able to trim a horse safely and correctly, whether you just want to trim your own horses or pursue a career as a farrier. Typically farriers charge $25 and upwards to trim a horse's hooves. |
